It's a kind of Magic (Virtual Booklet)
For Language Teachers
Sometimes, the simplest tools are the best ones, but we tend to forget they are free, and at hand.
When we attend face to face classes we always carry our personal notebooks, and our books and booklets; but online classes demand different skills from us to provide our students with tools and materials.
In order to have a virtual space to share , Google documents are perfect to create virtual booklets for your students. There, you will be able to:
👀 Copy and paste images or any kind of link to share with your students;
👀 Create tables;
👀 Use the suggestion and comment tool, to introduce corrections and comments to your students' work in real time (or not).
👀 Ask you students to collaborate in group assignments and then track the history of the document to check how the collaboration worked (if you plan to do so, ask you students to sing in with their google accounts to contribute to the task).
👀 Make a copy or download the booklet not to depend on any connection to work (you can also activate the mode to work without connection).👀 Create activities so your students can choose the right option from a drop-down.
👀 Enable notifications to get updates when the participants add their contributions.
👀 Share the booklet with others so they can to see, comment of modify it.
I personally LOVE 💓 seeing the document "magically" self-writing when I assign my students tasks to solve in groups haha. Do you feel the same?
I hope you find this entry useful! Feel free to like, subscribe, share and comment this entry. It would help me a lot to reach more educators and learners to continue creating free contents!
