A Little About Me
Hi, I'm Sol! I’m a passionate & professional certified Spanish <>English Teacher and Translator born in Argentina, and currently travelling the world. I have more than 15 years of experience working at universities, school, language institutes, individuals, and companies, working with learners from different ages and levels. In addition to being into languages, I'm a professional dancer and a Pilates mat instructor.
I've always been a culture-lover interested in expanding my perspective through languages and a curious researcher of movement disciplines. I especially love working with legal matters, sustainability, business language, body movement, job interviews counseling, EFL (English as a Foreign Language) and ESL (Español como Segunda Lengua); self-learners, contents for teachers, and language for travellers.
About my Background and Experience
In the past 15 years, I have worked with learners from all
ages and levels and different methodologies aiming at specific targets. In
addition to working in person, I have worked as an online teacher for the past
8 years, providing schools, institutes, companies and private students with
tailored and fun classes and workshops to help them achieve their goals.
Working with different methodologies, ranging from grammar-based to
communicative approach and even suggestopedia, has helped me to customize my
classes for my students, focusing on their preferences and making use of many
games and user-friendly digital tools.
My Classes & Teaching Style
My classes target at providing my students with resourceful tools to empower their communication skills, acquire fluency and accuracy, and practice as much as possible tailoring this practice to real situations in a friendly environment. I always plan my sessions according to the specific interests of students and aim at natural and effective communication. I have the possibility to include many user-friendly digital tools and games, and I always prioritize the speaking practice in every class. Also, my classes include useful information about the social and cultural components of the Argentinian and Latin American cultures.
